Course Description:

This session will provide an understanding of what blogging is and the options available to educators to get started blogging. Examples of different blogging platforms will be demonstrated and the use of blogs in education will be discussed.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to:

• Define the terms blog and blogging.
• List some examples of blogging websites.
• List several reasons to incorporate blogs in the classroom
• List some examples of blog uses in the classroom
