Course Description:

This how-to course will provide the learner with the skills necessary to begin using the WordPress blogging platform. The participant will learn how to create a user account and begin writing, editing and managing blogs. The use of tags, categories, the insertion of images, sound, and videos, and the management of comments will also be covered.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course the learner will be able to:

• Sign up for a blog site at WordPress.com.
• Edit their user profile, including changing their password.
• Perform basic site administrative tasks.
• Create, edit, and manage blog posts.
• Create, edit, and manage blog comments.
• Use media files in blog posts.
• Create and manage additional users.
